Meet Jax!

Jax is an 11-month-old mixed breed with a big heart whos looking for the right home to help him reach his full potential.

Hes an affectionate cuddle bug with the people he knows and loves and enjoys nothing more than spending time with his family. His current owners care deeply about him and recognize that hed thrive in a different environment better suited to his needs.

Jax is crate trained, knows basic commands including sit, down, stay, and wait, and will patiently wait for permission before eating. He is also potty trained when his cues are recognized. A home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal, giving him space to exercise and burn off his young-dog energy.

Like many adolescent dogs, Jax is still a work in progress. He can be reactive to other dogs and unfamiliar people while on leash and tends to pull during walks despite previous training. Hell do best with a patient, confident owner who is committed to continuing his training and helping him build confidence. While he can get along with some dogs, introductions and compatibility depend on the individual dog. Because of this, Jax would do best in a home without young children, and he has not been tested with cats.
