Meet Jedidiah — “Jed” for short. His name means “beloved of the Lord,” and honestly, it fits him perfectly. Because despite the heartbreak he experienced so early in life, Jed has held onto the softest, sweetest heart imaginable.
At just 8 weeks old, Jed was thrown from a moving truck, leaving him with a broken leg and clavicle. But this little survivor refused to let the world harden him. Now at 4 months old, he's fully healed and ready to find the forever family he's always deserved.
Jed is the definition of gentle. He's very shy when meeting new people and needs patience, kindness, and space to feel safe. But once you earn his trust, you'll discover the sweetest cuddle buddy around. He loves curling up close to his people, quietly soaking up affection and comfort.
He absolutely adores other dogs and gains confidence from having canine friends around. Water is another one of his favorite things — puddles, kiddie pools, bath time... if it splashes, Jed is interested.
Jed would thrive in a calm, understanding home that will let him move at his own pace and continue learning that the world can be a safe place. Watching him slowly come out of his shell is something truly special. Every tiny tail wag and brave little step feels like a victory.
After such a difficult beginning, Jed is more than ready for a life filled with love, soft beds, patient hearts, and plenty of cuddles. His past may be heartbreaking, but his future deserves to be beautiful.
