Wolffer - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Dekalb, Illinois

Hi there! I'm Wolffer, but my foster family calls me "Wolfie" for short! I've been told I'm an amazing young gal who's a quick learner and surprisingly calm for my age! Give me a nice comfy bed and I'll nap for hours. I love dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I'm great at reading their cues. Even when I'm running around the yard, I'm careful around the tiny dogs I live with. I'm a thoughtful little lady who knows how to play respectfully! I also love toys, more so just taking them out of the toy bin than actually playing with them. I'm eager to learn all the ropes of being a wonderful houseguest! I don't chew on things, stay off the couch, and I'm not the type to jump on people or bark at strangers. I've been good about going potty outside and learning my crate is safe when your gone or at night. I'm already showing what a well-mannered girl I can be all I need is a gentle correction and I'm good to go! I'm still working on my leash skills, but I'm a smart cookie, and with a few tasty treats, extra pets, and a little patience, I'm sure to catch on in no time! If you're looking for a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered young pup who's ready to learn and grow with her forever family, I might just be your girl!
I'm currently staying in a foster home, if you'd like to meet me please email info@tailshumanesociety.org

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
