DESCRIPTION
Meet Sir Bearington: a 100-pound gentle giant who believes with every fiber of his being that he is, in fact, a pocket-sized lap dog. This regal boy's ideal day doesn't involve boring canine cliches like chasing tennis balls or hanging out in the backyard-he does his outdoor potty business and promptly requests to be escorted back to his kingdom (your couch). On walks, he moves with stately poise, zero pulling, and a charming zig-zag technique that allows his magnificent nose to inspect every blade of grass. He is a fully potty-trained total sweetheart who gets along respectfully with other dogs, though his true passion in life is human affection. If you are sitting down, Sir Bearington will be as physically close to you as gravity allows, happily soaking up endless pets.
While he holds a PhD in cuddles and already knows "sit," His Lordship is still working on a few royal quirks. He is extremely food and treat motivated-breakfast and dinner are sacred events-which means he occasionally likes to inspect counters and washing machines just to ensure no snacks were left behind. He handles his crate like a dramatic stage actor: he requires a gourmet treat bribe to enter and may drop a few noisy protest tears before settling down, but he gets there eventually! He isn't mouthy, doesn't care for squeaky toys, and simply wants a loving home with someone who appreciates a big, velvety shadow. If you have a strong lap and a lot of love to give, Sir Bearington is ready to claim his throne by your side!
Sir Bearington is currently staying in a foster home, if you'd like to meet him please email info@tailshumanesociety.org
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
