Do you have a lap for me to curl up in? Or a dog who needs a friend? Elphaba here! Yes, like the famous witch, I have a magical name-but I promise the only spell I cast is making people fall in love with me. I'm a thoughtful girl and a total sweetheart. My favorite place in the whole world? Your lap. Seriously. I LOVE to cuddle and soak up all the affection. I stayed in a foster home with three other dogs (from little ones to a 70-pound big buddy), and I did great with all of them! I like being part of a team! I do well on a leash, though if something scares me I might back up a bit-I just appreciate a little patience and reassurance. I'm doing well with potty habits if I'm let outside regularly. I'm also a polite house guest. I eat at my own pace, don't guard my food or toys, and I'm fine relaxing by myself for a bit. I've even met cats through a barrier and was just curious and polite about them. One more thing about me... I'm not a big fan of super cold weather. If it's chilly, I might vote for more cuddle time inside instead. I hope that's okay.
