Meet Turner - A Sweet, Playful Boy with a Big Heart


Turner is a very sweet, energetic boy who is always ready for a game of fetch, a good romp, or some quality time with his favorite people. He has a playful personality and plenty of energy to share, but once he's had a chance to run and get some of those zoomies out, he's much happier settling down and relaxing.

Turner is house trained and crate trained, and his kennel has become his own cozy little retreat. He absolutely loves dragging clothes, blankets, and anything soft he can find into his kennel so he can make himself the perfect little nest. Once he's got his treasures arranged just right, he loves curling up and snuggling in for a nap.

Turner can experience some anxiety when he's left alone, but he does much better after he's had plenty of exercise and time to burn off his extra energy. A family willing to give him an active routine and help him build confidence when alone will be a wonderful fit for him.

When meeting new dogs or children, Turner can be a little shy and scared at first. His first instinct is usually to run and hide rather than confront anyone. Once he has some time to realize they're friends, though, he does wonderfully with both kids and other dogs. He just needs patient introductions and the opportunity to warm up at his own pace.

Turner also gets a little carsick on long rides, especially when he's traveling alone. Having someone sit with him helps him feel more comfortable and makes those longer trips much easier for him.

Turner is looking for someone who will appreciate his sweet nature, give him time to feel comfortable, and keep his active little body happily exercised. In return, you'll get a playful fetch partner, a cozy blanket-hoarding snuggle bug, and a loving companion who just wants to feel safe and loved.
