Pippi - AVAILABLE TO FOSTER OR ADOPT - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Clayton, North Carolina

Pippi is an adorable, compact bully girl around a year and a half old. She is very popular with the other dogs at the rescue, including one dog that is generally not a fan of any other canines! She is playful with dogs but is very easygoing, sweet, and affectionate with people.

Her personality is equally cute! She enjoys dining privately, so at every meal, she picks up her food bowl and moves it inside to eat out of sight. Sometimes she doesn't want to leave her dog friends behind and will plop down "pancake style" on her walks and smile at us, but with a little encouragement, she pops up and continues the walk. She's a goofy girl!

She enjoys her little swimming pool and is not fond of the extreme summer heat, so she looks forward to a home with air conditioning! Pippi was seized from a cruelty/hoarding situation, but she is so good-natured you would never suspect that she was previously abused.

Pippi is short but sturdy and weighs 37 pounds. She is a bully mix, and we hope her adopter will share her DNA results with Red Barn Rescue! Pippi is heartworm negative, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go start her next chapter.
