Ashera is a beautiful mixed-breed girl who is just about 2 years old and currently searching for her forever home. This sweet island girl traveled all the way from St. Lucia and is still getting used to her new surroundings.
She may seem like a shy girl at first, but she is deeply curious about the world and opens up with a bit of gentle coaxing. When she's trying to identify a new thing, she does an adorable, inquisitive head-tilt that will capture your heart!
Ashera came to us with a group of other dogs, so she may do well with canine companions, though proper introductions are always recommended. She did amazing with young kids she spent a few days with, was very gentle and sweet with them. We think she may already know some commands such as 'leave it' 'come' and 'lay down'!
