Meet Checkers!

Checkers is an approximately 7-week-old male Pit Bull mix with the sweetest personality. He can be a little more timid at first, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and cuddly side comes right out.

Checkers came from a litter of 11 puppies who were taken from their mom at a very young age and bottle-fed. Being raised so closely with people has made him especially affectionate, and he loves having his humans nearby.

He enjoys playing outside, loves other dogs, and has done great around cats, kids, and everyone he meets. He's also mastered the classic puppy clumsiness, which makes watching him play even cuter.

Checkers sleeps through the night, is healthy, and is up to date on his age-appropriate vaccinations. He would be a great fit for a family looking for a sweet, loving puppy who may be a little shy at first but warms up quickly and has plenty of love to give.
