Lyra was originally adopted from HES as a puppy, but returned to us only recently at just under a year old (at no fault of her own!). While she still retains some of her puppy energy, she has grown into a very clever, well-mannered, and sweet-tempered young adult; the perfect age to continue to grow in a loving family!

With just about the cutest face and happiest wiggle you've ever seen, Lyra will greet new friends right away, and will likely climb into your lap as soon as you let her. Despite her young age, Lyra has learned to walk very well on a leash, and knows some basic commands. She loves children and has never met a stranger!

We expect this perfect little gal to only continue to grow and blossom in her forever home. She'd love to meet you!
