DESCRIPTION
Harley is a sweet gentle giant who quickly won the hearts of staff and volunteers. He grew up in a loving home, and it shows. Recently he got to spend the weekend with a foster, and she told us all about how wonderful he is! She reported that he is a loving velcro dog, but he also did fine when left home alone, just relaxing on the couch while she was gone. He is medium energy, knows "Sit", and loves soft toys. His foster described Harley as "friendly, clingy, polite, goofy, playful, and affectionate". What more could you ask for?! In summary, his foster wrote "You will never be lonely with Harley around! He has no problem bringing multiple choices to play with until you pick the one you like the most. He is very inventive and even learned to dig with his cone! He is not a huge fan of car rides but will very willingly just wait on the couch for you to get back. He is a very patient man, and as long as you are touching him, he will let you do just about anything! He is great with children but I think maybe a tad older ones would be better as he is 100% just a baby lap dog and will make sure everyone knows it! He is an absolute sucker for a good piece of cheese (but who isn’t), takes treats very gently, and chews very carefully (just make sure you have a towel down for drool!) Overall, he would make an amazing addition to a family or a single person!" Harley hasn't had a chance to play with other dogs at the shelter yet, but he grew up with a brother with whom he got along great, and when he meets dogs through the fence, he seems friendly towards them. Harley is such a gem, you need to come meet him today!
