DESCRIPTION
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Sorbet is a great puppy. She's very smart and treat motivated and learns quickly. She already knows to sit patiently in her kennel when it's time to eat. She's doing very well with potty training. Uses the potty pad area when her foster is at work and she's in her playpen. And she's been successful with potty training when going outside on a schedule. Still a work in progress but you can tell she's starting to understand.
She knows the sit command.
She has the most energy of the 3 siblings fosters but she isn't over the top energetic. She would do great with an energetic family or person. She loves to play with the big dogs in the house but will take corrections from them when they tell her to chill out. She loves all kinds of toys.
She's very good in the bathtub and doesn't mind having her paws and ears handled and touched. She does bark occasionally but it's usually to let you know she needs something and quiets down fairly quickly. We haven't worked on any leash training yet. She likes to be around all sorts of people and will hang out and sleep while you watch tv.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
