Augusto - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Buffalo, Minnesota

Location: Cottage Grove, MN

Augusto, a.k.a. Trouble, is the instigator of the litter. He likes to get his siblings all riled up and simply walk away to go find a stick or just lay in the grass and watch the chaos unfold. He loves toys, chasing feet, chewies, and sniffing the clovers looking for bugs to chase or left over sniffle mat snacks! He responds to Trouble and has started to come when called. He also knows "sit". He likes to stay with his pack and follow his litter mates around but gets easily distracted by interesting critters, sticks, or grass. Once he realizes he has left the group he comes running back! Trouble has had the most difficulty with kennel training and does not like being in there. After about 5 minutes he usually calms down and takes his nap or goes to bed. He also needs to be watched for fast sniffing to go potty because he hasn't figured out a way to signal yet that he needs to go. Trouble LOVES the pool and bath time, he just stands in the water and enjoys the scenery around him staying nice and cool!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
