Meet 6 month old Butterfly, or “Butter” as her foster family calls her!

Butter is pure sweetness wrapped up in the cutest puppy package. This gentle, laid-back girl loves nothing more than being close to her people, whether she’s soaking up the sunshine outside, curled up beside you on the couch, or sneaking in kisses whenever she gets the chance. She has a calm, loving personality and quickly becomes everyone’s little shadow.

Butter is being fostered with other dogs and cats and has been incredibly sweet with everyone. She especially enjoys following her foster dog sibling around and learning from her.

Butter rides wonderfully in the car, is learning commands, and is making fantastic progress with potty training. She’s a smart girl who is learning routines quickly and continues to grow every day.

While Butter is absolutely ready to find her forever family, she does have hip dysplasia and will need hip surgery in the coming months. Her veterinarian has recommended surgery to help improve her long-term comfort and quality of life. The good news? Butter doesn’t let her hip dysplasia slow her down one bit. She still loves to play, explore, snuggle, and shower her people with kisses just like any happy puppy.

Butter has a wonderful team supporting her right now, but she would love nothing more than to be settled into her forever home before her surgery so she can recover surrounded by the people she loves most.
