I’m about 5 years old, fully vetted, spayed, and ready to trade my old life for something I’ve never really had before — a family of my very own.

I came from a hoarding situation, where I’ve always been the “mama” of the group. I’m the sweet, nurturing girl who keeps an eye on everyone else and makes sure they’re okay. I’ve spent a long time taking care of others... but now I’m hoping someone will take care of me.

I absolutely LOVE other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy to play with. I also do well with older kids. But one of my very favorite things? CUDDLES! I’m a professional attention-soaker-upper. If you’re sitting down, there’s a pretty good chance I’m going to want to be right beside you — or possibly on you!

I’m still learning what it means to be an indoor house dog. Potty training is a work in progress, but hey, nobody ever taught me before! I’m catching on, and with a little patience, consistency, and encouragement, I know I can figure it out.

What I really need is someone willing to give me the chance I’ve been waiting for. Give me a comfy bed, lots of love, a little guidance, and maybe a spot on the couch (okay... definitely a spot on the couch ), and just watch me blossom.

I’ve spent enough of my life simply getting by.

Now I’m ready to learn what it feels like to be spoiled, adored, tucked into a warm bed, and loved like someone’s baby.
