Meet Flanders!
Flanders is a 1-year-old, 60-pound goofball with a huge heart and an even bigger smile—seriously, every photo of him radiates pure joy. This ultra-happy guy is treat-motivated, incredibly smart, and eager to learn. Like many young pups, he needs regular physical activity, mental enrichment, and continued training to help him channel all that puppy energy in the best ways. At his core, Flanders just wants to play, be noticed, and soak up as much love and attention as possible.
Flanders is crate trained, leash trained, and an excellent car rider. He’s super cuddly, deeply affectionate, and absolutely loves his people. After a good walk or play session, his favorite place to be is curled up on the couch, snuggling close—especially with his face tucked right under your chin. He’s playful, energetic, and a little wild at heart, but with patience, consistency, and structure as he finishes out his puppy years, he’s going to be an amazing companion.
When it comes to other pets, Flanders will need slow introductions with other dogs. His fosters are still learning how he might do with cats, but with gradual, thoughtful introductions, it’s possible he could do well. Because he has so much puppy energy and absolutely loves to run and play, Flanders would do best in a home with a yard where he can burn off that energy.
If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, high-energy young dog who lives for human love and companionship, Flanders is ready to be your new best friend.
