Indy - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Aberdeen, North Carolina

Hi, I'm Indy.
I'm almost 2 years old, weigh around 35 pounds, and I'm a spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped mixed breed girl.

I'm high energy, super friendly, and very goofy. I love everyone I meet and bring a lot of playful enthusiasm wherever I go. If there's something fun happening, I want to be part of it.

I get along great with other dogs and would absolutely thrive in a home with canine friends to run and play with. I can sometimes resource guard my toys, so I may need to be redirected in those moments. I'm also good with cats-I mostly ignore them-and I do well with kids, though my energy level means I do best with kids who are comfortable around an active dog.

I'm house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I'd be happiest with an active family who enjoys regular adventures, playtime, and exercise. A fenced yard would be wonderful, but consistent outings and opportunities to burn energy would work too.

Before joining the rescue, I sat in the shelter for 99 days, waiting for my chance. Now that I have it, I'm ready to make the most of every day. If you're looking for a fun-loving, social dog who brings joy, movement, and lots of personality into your life, I'm ready to be your adventure buddy.
