DESCRIPTION

Hi, I’m Miss Snuggles and yes, I live up to the name in the sweetest, quietest way. I may take a moment to warm up, but once I do, you’ll see just how much love I carry around in my little heart.

I’m a friendly, playful girl with a soft side. New places can make me a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and I’ll be right by your side, leaning in for affection and showing you my loving nature. I get along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, and I have that perfect medium energy—happy to play, but just as content to relax near my people.

I have a few favorite things that make me me. I love a good game of fetch, I’m always on the hunt for the biggest, most impressive stick on our walks (and yes, I’ll proudly try to bring it home), and I never say no to a good chew bone. I’m crate trained, potty trained, walk nicely on a leash, and I ride calmly in the car—basically, I’ve got all the good habits already in place.

Life with me feels easy and warm. I’d love a home with a yard where I can stretch my legs and explore, and having another playful dog around would help me feel even more confident and show me the ropes. I’m the kind of dog who fits into your rhythm—play when it’s time, rest when it’s quiet, and always stay close.

My story started as a stray alongside my siblings, but those days are behind me now. I’ve grown into a loving, gentle companion who’s ready for something steady and real.

I’m not in a rush—I’m looking for the right match. A home that understands a softer, slightly shy girl and gives her the space to blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she’s meant to be.

I’m also fully up to date on all my vaccinations, and with my crate and house training already mastered, I’m ready to settle into home life with ease.

I was rescued in Texas, and I’m looking for a foster-to-adopt home in the Northeast. That means you and I get 2–3 weeks to live together and see how it feels—no pressure, just real life. If it’s not the perfect fit, my rescue will make sure I’m placed quickly with another family, so there’s no stress on your side.

I can already picture the moment we meet. Transport runs every other weekend, and I can be picked up in East Hartford, Connecticut or Brattleboro, Vermont. It’s the start of something special—I can feel it.

If you’re thinking about me, the best way to apply is through 👉 www.rociosrescues.org
or by emailing rociosrescues@yahoo.com
. Sometimes Petfinder inquiries get lost in spam, and I wouldn’t want to miss you.

I have a feeling my person is out there… and if you’ve made it this far, I think we might need to meet.

Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
