Meet Itzel, a 6-year-old, approximately 20-pound Schnauzer who is one smart cookie!

Itzel is affectionate, playful, and very well trained. She knows sit, shake, and spin—especially when there’s a treat involved! She also does wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play with them.

She’s a girl who enjoys being with her people and has a wonderful personality once she knows you. Her family has had no issues with her. Her one important consideration is that she can be nippy with strangers. Because of this, Itzel would do best in an adult-only home without children and with a family that doesn't have a lot of unfamiliar people coming and going.

Itzel can also be protective of her resources, so her new family should be comfortable understanding and respecting that part of her personality.

She recently had a dental cleaning and is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her current vaccinations. If you're looking for a smart Schnauzer who loves her people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and already knows her tricks, Itzel might be your girl!
