Chester - Miniature Schnauzer Dog for Adoption in Hayesville, North Carolina

Chester is estimated to be about 10 years old and weighs 16 pounds. He's a quirky little old man who makes a great side kick on adventures but would rather sit in your lap forever. He's got significant hearing loss but isn't completely deaf. He's remarkably well behaved in the crate when his foster mom has to go to work.

He is excellent on a leash and loves to go for rides. Chester has never met a stranger but he'd be happiest in someone's lap and only having to get up for occasional potty breaks and snacks.

Chester is HW Neg and fully vetted. He's pretty indifferent to other dogs but it does take him a while to trust bigger dogs and be comfortable around them.
He WILL chase a cat so a home without feline friends would be best.

Chester has one hang up that we suspect is keeping him from finding a forever home. He has to wear a belly band diaper because he's so easily excitable he marks when he's worked up. Our little old man was obviously already potty pad trained on intake but his aim is awful - LOL He means well. It's just hard to aim when you're a little old man. He will be going to his new home with a lifetime supply of washable belly bands.
