Piper - Miniature Schnauzer and Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Guilford, Connecticut

Piper and her sibling were left in the middle of nowhere in a very bad storm. A volunteer for the rescue was able to secure them temporarily, and they are currently together in a foster home, while we locate great adopters for them. The vet believes Piper is under one year, but fully grown at 20 ish pounds. We know dogs can fill out so that is not a guaranteed final weight, but within several pounds most likely.

Their personalities are silly, and they're very unique and unusual blends of what we believe to be schnauzer and heelers as their predominant breeds.

Pepper seems more attached to his sibling, and she is not that interested in him. Before coming to CT, they were being fostered on a farm, around multiple dogs and now each is in their own foster home in CT.

The rescue does not adopt siblings together, due to our experience with sibling aka littermate syndrome. They are smaller in person than they appear in photos.
Zen Dog CT's adoption donation for Pepper is $600. This includes vaccines (rabies, dhlpp), bordatella, deworming, currently on simparica trio, fecal testing, and neuter.
