Hi, I’m Cookie Mae — a 1.5-year-old Mini Schnauzer mix weighing about 16 pounds, and I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. Everyone here says I have the cutest little personality ever, and honestly… they might be right. When I first arrived, I walked into the building on my back legs like a tiny circus dog, and now I love showing off that silly trick for treats. I’m sweet, goofy, affectionate, and always ready to make people laugh.

I absolutely adore other dogs, love kids, and have been wonderful with everyone I meet, including the kennel staff. I’m great in my kennel, enjoy attention, and am just an all-around easy little companion to have around. I’m one of those dogs that quickly becomes everybody’s favorite because I’m always happy, loving, and full of charm. Cat testing can also be done upon request if needed.

I’m fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines and preventatives. Now all I need is a forever family to love me as much as I’ll love them. If you’re looking for a fun-sized best friend with a huge personality and an even bigger heart, I might just be your girl.
