Hi, I’m Viola—a 40-pound, 1.5-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with the softest heart you’ll ever meet. I came from a high-kill shelter in Texas, but you’d never know it by how loving and gentle I am. If you’re looking for a total love bug, I’m your girl. I live for affection—pets, cuddles, attention—I’ll take it all. I bond quickly and just want to be close to my people as much as I can.

I absolutely love being outside. Give me a nice spot to lay in the breeze, and I’m happy as can be. I’d choose fresh air over being indoors most of the time, and I’m pretty content just relaxing and taking it all in. I do great with other dogs and am very sweet with everyone I meet, including all the people who take care of me. I enjoy squeaky toys and will happily engage, especially if it means spending time with you.

I’m somewhat treat motivated and eager to connect, which will help as I continue learning and settling into a home routine. I’m really just a gentle, easygoing girl who wants a loving home where I can be close to my people, enjoy the outdoors, and finally have a place to call my own. I’ll come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
