Eloise was just a stray picked up by our local
animal control and she landed up at Barc
She was so matted we had no idea what type of dog she was, her matt’s were so tightly wound around one of her front legs that they had cut off the circulation to her leg and her toenails and foot had fallen off and were entwined in her coat
We took her to our emergency vets who determined that they could not save the leg and did an emergency amputation as she was in so much pain
We then discovered that she needed an Fho . so after she had healed from her first operation our Orthopedic Surgeon went ahead with the second and this week we were able to get her groomed for the first time
She is such a pretty little girl and her Dna shows her to be a Schnauzer /Shih Tzu mix along with 4 other breeds
She is an independent little girl , she can usually be found curled up on a soft dog bed in her crate , it’s her safe place and she likes to eat her meals there as well
She tolerates the other dogs to a certain extent but does not like them to get too close to her and will let them know to
stay away , but, will also curl up in a doggie bed with them at times..she loves people and getting attention,she seems to be pretty well house and leash trained and would probably do best in a home as an only dog
she is approx 2 yrs old and 11 lbs

We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 10 years.. and only to experienced dog owners.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered,microchipped , vaccines including Rabies,Dhpp,Bordatella and Canine Ingluenza and all are on monthly preventatives for Heartworms,Fleas/Ticks and Parasites
