🐾 **Meet Scruffy** 🐾

Scruffy is a highly intelligent, playful, and affectionate Schnauzer–Poodle mix puppy looking for an active home that understands structure, boundaries, and positive reinforcement training.

This handsome boy loves:
🎾 Playing fetch
🛋 Snuggling on your lap
🐶 Playing with other small dogs close to his size (approximately 12–15 lbs)
🏃 Activities like agility, rally obedience, walks, and enrichment games

Scruffy is crate trained and mostly house trained. Like many rescue dogs adjusting to a new home, occasional accidents can happen during transitions while routines and schedules settle into place. Once comfortable in a calm, structured environment, Scruffy thrives.

He would do best in a home that understands:
✔ Calm structure and consistency
✔ Positive reinforcement training
✔ No rough play or tug-of-war
✔ Intelligent, active Schnauzer–Poodle mixes

Scruffy may be suitable for respectful children over 10 who understand calm dog handling and boundaries around play.

At Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society, we never guarantee a dog is completely house trained. Even well-adjusted dogs can have accidents during the first few days in a new home while learning new routines and surroundings.

We encourage adopters to approach the adjustment period with patience and understanding and to expect the occasional accident as their new companion settles in.
