Janie - Miniature Poodle and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Oak Brook, Illinois

Meet this fun little girl!

At just 1.6 years old, she is full of personality, fun, and love! She absolutely loves people and is great with kids. She has been around other dogs and enjoys having a playmate to romp around with.

One of her favorite things? Toys you can toss! She loves to chase after them and bring them right back to you - so get ready for some serious fetch sessions!

She sleeps nicely in her kennel at night, but because she is still young, she would love a home where her people are around more during the day. She needs to get outside more frequently and would do best with someone who has the time to give her those breaks, attention, and playtime she needs.

She is a fun little dog with lots of love to give and is ready for a family who wants a happy, playful companion.

One more thing to keep in mind: this breed requires regular grooming, so please be prepared for the time and expense that comes with keeping her looking and feeling her best.

If you're looking for a little dog who loves people, enjoys playing, and is always ready for some fun, she may be your girl!

The miniature poodle is a highly intelligent and affectionate dog breed known for its curly hypoallergenic coat and charming personality. Originally bred as water retrievers, these small but sturdy dogs excel in various dog sports and activities. They are adaptable to different living situations, making them ideal companions for both families and individuals. Miniature poodles require regular grooming to maintain their coat, and their playful nature and trainability make them a popular choice for obedience and agility competitions.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
