Miniature Poodle and Shih Tzu Dogs Available for Adoption in Foster, Rhode Island

If you've ever dreamed of owning a muppet, now is your chance. We are looking for a hospice home for Lola. This sweet senior is 15 years old and she weighs just under 13lbs.

Lola is a perfect, little lady. She's very quiet and independent, but also loves to be held and will even occasionally get some senior zoomies. She's been great with every dog she has met and is very easy to care for.

Unfortunately Lola does have some health concerns. She has a grade 4 heart murmur and after an echocardiogram we discovered that she has a ruptured chordae tendinae. She currently takes Vetmedin twice daily for her heart and she will need continued monitoring and future echocardiograms.

Lola is also on thyroid medication twice daily and an anti-inflammatory and pain medication for her luxating patellas. Lola is not spayed and unfortunately her teeth are terrible, but putting her under anesthesia is too risky. Lola is up to date on bloodwork and vaccines.
