DESCRIPTION
Bishop was discovered in an empty rental house along with some other dogs. We assume his owners left him and the others there when they moved out. Bishop and his friends were really glad to be discovered so they could get some food and water. Animal Control loaded them up and took them to the shelter. There they got big clean puppy cages and lots of food and water. Their owners never came for them so the shelter got everyone ready for adoption. Bishop is about four years old and he has all of his vaccinations, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. He also had to get a "haircut" because his coat was so matted! One little problem did show up on his health check up. Bishop is heartworm positive, but he is not concerned! He already has his treatment appointments set up and he is ready to get started!
ABOUT: MINIATURE POODLE DOG BREED
The miniature poodle is a highly intelligent and affectionate dog breed known for its curly hypoallergenic coat and charming personality. Originally bred as water retrievers, these small but sturdy dogs excel in various dog sports and activities. They are adaptable to different living situations, making them ideal companions for both families and individuals. Miniature poodles require regular grooming to maintain their coat, and their playful nature and trainability make them a popular choice for obedience and agility competitions.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
