DESCRIPTION
Pogo here! I can't tell you how relieved I am to be sitting in the safety of the shelter! Whew! I really didn't care to be out in the cold and rain with no food or shelter! Bummer!! Anyway I was never claimed by my owners and I am now available for adoption. I am a one-year-old retriever mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. When I was given my behavior tests I passed with flying colors with other dogs! I am a nice small to medium size boy that would be happy to fit into your home and become an important part of your family!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The retriever is a beloved dog breed known for its friendly demeanor, intelligence, and exceptional ability to retrieve objects. With a loyal and gentle nature, retrievers make excellent family pets and are popular choices for service and therapy work. These dogs excel in obedience training and activities such as agility and hunting. Recognized for their shiny coats and moderate size, retrievers come in various colors including golden, Labrador, and Chesapeake Bay. Their overall versatility and affectionate personalities make them cherished companions in many households.
