youngster Damien came to us a matted mess and in need of immediate grooming… wait til you see the after photos, you won’t recognize him! He just celebrated his 2nd birthday on 4/9 just before being surrendered. His owner left for college and elderly family members were unable to care for him properly. He’s a little anxious and barks at first with strangers but warms up VERY fast and is a clingy Velcro boy. He was purchased from a pet store as a maltipoo though he definitely looks more Poo than Malt. 13lbs, non-shedding, getting neutered and updated on shots this week. He likes other dogs, was mostly using wee wee pads but goes outside as well, and is a social needy guy who dances for attention.

Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
