DESCRIPTION
Ms. Sandy (I’ve been calling her Honey Bee), has come a long way in the past month but still has a long way to go. She will need an adopter who understands she is still trying to learn that people can be ok. She is very slow to trust but is the happiest girl. Sandy is estimated around 3 years old and is 14 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and has no known health issues. She is not leash trained but is doing well with the potty routine by following her foster friends. She also does ok in a crate but has shown no destructive habits.
Sandy loves toys and bones and all other dogs. She really needs a confident dog friend to continue to teach her how to dog! Forced handling should be avoided but she shows zero sign or aggression, growling, etc. she’s truly just scared. She follows her foster mom around room to room and sleeps at the foot of the bed but still shy's away from petting. Given the right home and time, she’s going to be the best girl ever. She recently had a big spa day and did great so we know she will get there!
