Hugo is a sweet, happy 18-month-old pup weighing 16 pounds. He's housebroken, crate trained, and rarely barks. He loves the water, enjoys swimming, and may occasionally dig when he's feeling playful.

When Hugo was rescued, he had spent his life in a breeder's home where 12 adult dogs were kept in a small space. He had very little exposure to the outside world, had never been to a dog park, and was fearful of almost everything.

In just a few months, Hugo has undergone an incredible transformation. He's become an affectionate, playful, and curious dog who is always smiling. While he enjoys being active and exploring, he also loves to cuddle. One of his favorite things is having his own space—he's fully crate trained and happily retreats there to relax.

Hugo gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is very comfortable around women. He can be a little cautious with men at first, but with a little patience and time, he warms up and builds trust.

Hugo is looking for a loving home that will continue to help him grow in confidence while enjoying all the happiness and companionship he has to offer.
