BOLT is a very sweet, shy boy who has overcome so much in his short life. He spotted running loose with a little friend for months, evading capture by all who tried. Sadly his friend was hit by a car and passed away, leaving BOLT to survive on his own. That’s where we came in and surprisingly trapped him quite quickly!
Once in his foster home and allowed to decompress, BOLT has shown to be a very gentle, sweet and playful guy! He’s approximately 1-2 yrs of age and at 12 lbs his lean body and long legs make us think he might be part mini pin. He leaps and runs like a graceful deer when he plays! BOLT absolutely loves other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog to help continue building his confidence. He is a sensitive boy so a home that is less chaotic and more peaceful atmosphere will be best for him. BOLT seems to have some house training skills, he is crate trained and sleeps quietly at night. He has been doing well on leash walks but can be sensitive to loud noises and very busy/trafficy areas. BOLT has been okay with the cats in his foster home.
Due to his timid nature with people, BOLT will do better in a home with no small children...older kids who understand and will respect a timid dog’s needs are important when considering to adopt Bolt.
BOLT’S adoption fee is $300 which includes a current health, examination and current vaccinations, neuter, microchip, flea, and deworming treatments.
