Meet Jelly!

We are excited to announce that Jelly is now officially available for adoption!

Jelly was found on the streets tirelessly caring for her seven puppies. Despite being very thin at the time of her rescue, she remained a dedicated mother. Our amazing vet chose to adopt 2 of the puppies and a fellow rescue helped by bringing in 3 of the babies this left us to care for Momma Jelly and her remaining two babies.

Initially fearful of other dogs in her foster home, Jelly quickly realized they were friends and has even begun playing with smaller dogs. While she tolerates larger dogs, she prefers the company of smaller companions or being the only dog so she can receive all the love and belly rubs.

Jelly is very people-friendly and will immediately jump into a lap for affection. We are uncertain about her exposure to children or cats, but she walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. She is house trained (provided she has access to a doggy door or regular outings) and crate trained, though she would prefer to snuggle in bed with her humans.

Jelly is microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, and vaccinated. She is scheduled to be spayed on June 10, after which she will be ready for her forever home. We are accepting applications now to begin meet and greets.

Originating from Germany, these dogs are characterized by their distinctive high stepping gait and sleek, shiny coat. Miniature Pinschers are spirited, alert, and fearless, making them excellent watchdogs despite their small size. With their confident personalities and loyalty to their owners, Miniature Pinschers make charming and lively companions for those who appreciate their big dog demeanor in a compact package.
