Bear started out as a very reserved little girl, scared of the life she had been given. Within 24 hours of coming home with me, she began to open up and show her true personality, clearly grateful to begin her healing journey after severe mange.

Bear is a 20-pound Miniature Pinscher mix who loves being by your side as much as possible. She is courageous, loyal, playful, and incredibly affectionate—she absolutely loves giving kisses. When you come home, she will greet you with an excited little squeaky bark that is sure to make you smile. Give her a toy, and she happily shifts her attention to playtime.

She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys going out for walks. At home, she’s a wonderful sleeper who will curl up beside you and relax.

Bear would thrive in a home with younger, playful dogs. She is also very comfortable around cats—even bottle-fed kittens—and is not fazed by them at all.

She truly has one of the sweetest, most endearing personalities I have had the pleasure of fostering. Bear is a loving, friendly little girl who quickly wins over everyone she meets.
