Peewee is a 1.5-year-old Dachshund mix weighing approximately 10 pounds of pure puppy-dog charm!

Peewee came into rescue after her owner became ill and was no longer able to care for her. She had been used to running on lots of land with her owner, so her new family will need to help her adjust to a safer home environment. A securely fenced yard or a tie-out used with supervision would be ideal to make sure Peewee stays safe and doesn't wander or try to explore like she did in the country. Keeping her away from busy roads will be especially important.

Peewee is potty trained and crate trained, and she is typically a very quiet little dog. She loves everyone she meets and enjoys playing with toys. And those puppy-dog eyes? They are absolutely irresistible!

Peewee can be a little grumbly with bigger dogs, but she can coexist with them just fine, especially once she feels comfortable. We believe this is more of a size issue than anything else. With proper introductions and time to settle in, Peewee should do well with respectful canine companions.

As with all of our adoptable dogs, Peewee will go home with a collar, leash, toy, and two bowls, along with her current food. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and medical care. Her adoption fee is $600, which is tax-deductible and helps us continue rescuing dogs in need.
