Shell - Miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Shell is a gentle and sweet girl, around 2 years old and about 13-15lbs. She may be shy at first, but comes around nicely once she settles in and loves other dogs! She is good with cats, too.

Shell has a mellow, but playful, energy level and has been good on car rides, too. She is doing well with potty training in her foster home and does well in a gated/penned area when home alone. She also loves sunbathing in the window and in the yard.

Shell was found stray and landed in a high kill shelter and is just grateful to now be in a safe and loving foster home.

Shell will make a great companion to a lucky and patient family. She is fairly quiet, likes toys and chew bones, enjoys playing with other dogs, did well for her grooming, and is an easy keeper for her foster!

Shell is up to date on vaccines, spayed, on preventatives, microchipped, and dewormed.
