Butterscotch - Miniature Dachshund and Papillon Dog for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Butterscotch is the whole package! She is so well behaved, sweet and a special girl! She is mellow, not a barker, and has a playful side, too. She is surely one to become an adopters little shadow, and she also dances around on two legs. She is learning commands, sits and dances for treats, and keeps her foster mom smiling! Butterscotch is around 5 years old and about 15lbs, with long legs like a baby deer. She is gentle and a little couch potato and lap dog, loves to lounge, and is good with other dogs of all sizes. Butterscotch like likes to lounge and explore in the yard, and will make a wonderful companion to a lucky family. She loves human attention and is a very well behaved. Butterscotch was found stray and landed in a high kill shelter. We are looking for a loving home for this girl and and one who will spoil her like she deserves. She loves to be close, snuggle, and loves her people!

She did well for her bath and grooming and has been doing great on car rides to her appointments.
