Duncan - Mastiff and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Scituate, Massachusetts
DUNCAN
Mastiff, Labrador Retriever
🇺🇸
Scituate, Massachusetts
September 4th
male, extra large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Duncan came in as part of a trio of mastiff mixes (maybe with Weimaraner?) that were found wandering around in Stoughton together. Guessed to be between 1 and 2 years old, Duncan weighs 94 pounds and he could stand to gain some weight.
He is VERY strong and doesn't have a ton of training. That said he is a very nice guy, who leans in for pets. Due to his size, he should not go to a home with small children. He would also benefit from some basic training classes with a focus on walking nicely on leash (he takes his walkers on more of a drag than a walk currently!). A fenced yard might be helpful, while he learns to stay by your side, but isn't required. Overall, Duncan will make someone a great pet, and he might even give you a tiny corner of the couch to watch TV with him!
