Mavis is the definition of a Corso girl. She’s loyal, intelligent, observant, and naturally reserved with strangers. She isn’t the type to run up to everyone looking for attention, and that’s perfectly okay! She prefers to take her time, assess her surroundings, and build trust at her own pace.
Despite her strong presence, Mavis is not one to seek out confrontation. In fact, she would much rather avoid it altogether. She is incredibly obedient, responds well to direction, and thrives with calm, confident leadership.
Mavis also has a fun, playful side and enjoys interacting with other dogs! Once she’s comfortable, her personality really begins to shine.
Mavis would do best in a home with someone who understands the Cane Corso breed and appreciates her independent nature. She would not be a good match for a dominant, overly authoritative male handler. She needs someone who leads with patience, consistency, and mutual respect rather than force or intimidation.
