DESCRIPTION
Meet Miss Meatball!
This beautiful brindle girl is Miss Meatball, a 2-year-old Mastiff mix who found herself at ARC after being picked up as a stray. Unfortunately, no one came forward to reclaim her, so now she’s ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her very own.
Miss Meatball may have a big name and an even bigger head, but there’s a whole lot to love packed into this girl. She’s settling into shelter life while we continue learning more about her personality.
When it comes to other dogs, Miss Meatball can be selective about her canine friends, so any potential doggy siblings would need to meet her here at the shelter to make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good match.
One thing we know for sure? That face is pretty hard to resist.
Her life before ARC may be a mystery, but we’re hoping her future includes a couch, plenty of love, and someone who thinks having a Meatball in the family sounds pretty perfect.
ABOUT: MASTIFF DOG BREED
The Mastiff, a large and powerful breed with a history dating back to ancient times, is known for its gentle and loyal nature. These dogs are devoted family companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Despite their imposing size, Mastiffs are typically calm and patient, making them excellent protectors and watchdogs. With a distinctive wrinkled face and a massive build, Mastiffs require proper training and socialization to thrive in various environments.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
