DESCRIPTION
Meet Baxter, an adorable 11-month-old mastiff mix with a huge heart and so much love to give! ??
Baxter may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time and you’ll quickly discover he’s nothing more than a giant teddy bear. Once he warms up, he is incredibly affectionate, playful, and loves being around his people.
This sweet boy is crate trained and is almost fully housebroken, though he still has an occasional accident now and then. Baxter gets along great with other dogs and absolutely loves children, making him a wonderful companion for a family looking for a fun-loving pup to grow with.
Baxter has plenty of energy and would thrive in a home with lots of space to run and play, especially since he was previously an indoor/outdoor dog. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, playing with his doggy friends, or tagging along for a car ride, Baxter is happiest when he’s included in the fun.
If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, loving companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Baxter may just be your perfect match! ??
ABOUT: MASTIFF DOG BREED
The Mastiff, a large and powerful breed with a history dating back to ancient times, is known for its gentle and loyal nature. These dogs are devoted family companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Despite their imposing size, Mastiffs are typically calm and patient, making them excellent protectors and watchdogs. With a distinctive wrinkled face and a massive build, Mastiffs require proper training and socialization to thrive in various environments.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
