BOURBON
Mastiff, Boxer
🇺🇸
Mountain View, Arkansas
April 24th
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Bourbon jumped into someone's car while they were pumping gas and wouldn't get out. He was friendly but very skinny. The people tried to find his owner, but had no luck. They took him home and learned he is good with other dogs (they have 2) and cats! Bourbon has a very gentle, loving nature. He is also house trained. We don't know much about his past, but we do know he is a huge cuddle bug and will smother you with affection. He will probably follow you are like a shadow. He wants to be as close to people as he can get, often leaning his body against the nearest human. Bourbon is about 2 years old and will weigh around 90 lbs once at a healthy weight. We think he is a Mastiff/Boxer Mix. He is now neutered and fully vaccinated, ready to find his new family. If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet. Update: Bourbon just entered the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of training. He will be house trained, leash trained, crate trained and learn many tricks too. He will graduate mid-June and ready for adoption.
