Maltese Dogs Available for Adoption in Wyandotte, Michigan

Everyone loves Frank. He's got a strong personality and knows what he likes, which you'd expect from a dog his age.

Frank was found as a stray, with his coat a little overgrown but not awful. After getting to know him a bit, we see that Frank was once loved by someone who, for reasons unknown, could no longer care for him.

The unfortunate news is that Frank's dental health was never addressed. He is experiencing tooth decay and gum infection. When infection is allowed to thrive, it can have a devastating effect on organs. In Frank's case, he now has a resulting heart murmur and is on a few medications to help him feel more comfortable. The hope is that he will improve enough to have the dental he needs without complication.

For now, Frank actually enjoys walks, playing with his soft toys and arranging his bed the way he wants it. He loves treats too.

Due to the lack of proper healthcare when he was younger, Frank may not have the lifespan he would have had otherwise. This isn't something we can predict, but he would absolutely enjoy a a responsible home to make the most of his senior years now.
