Hi, I'm Duffy, a Maltese / Poodle X with a heart of gold and a friendly, protective nature. I'm a sweet boy who had the rug pulled out from under him when I lost my previous home, but I'm hopeful that my next chapter will be even better. I'm house-trained and will happily do my business outside or on pee pads—whatever you prefer! I love going for walks and runs and is always up for an adventure, but I draw the line at anyone touching my butt.

I'm an active lap dog who enjoys being close and having a good cuddle. I would do best in a home with older children or adults only, and as the sole apple of your eye, as I need time to warm up to other dogs, but with patience and kindness, I could learn to make new friends or be a great solo dog. I am a smart boy who knows my name and comes when called. I'm eager to please and walk nicely on a leash, though I may pull just a little out of excitement.
