Nugget - Maltese Dog for Adoption in Richmond, Virginia

Nugget is a sweet, silly little guy with a big personality, a curious nose, and a heart full of love!

About Me
Loves toys, zoomies, and sniffing adventures
On his way to mastering leash walking and basic commands
Making great progress with house-training and crate-training

Would Do Best in a Home Where
Kids are comfortable giving him time to settle in
Patience and positive reinforcement are part of the routine
A similarly sized canine buddy may be waiting (slow introductions needed)
Will probably do best in a home without cats
Someone is home for a midday potty break or can arrange one

They are gentle, affectionate companion dogs that thrive on human companionship and make wonderful family pets. Maltese dogs are playful, intelligent, and alert, with a confident demeanor despite their small size. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and are suitable for apartment living due to their size and adaptability.
