Angel, who lost her home when her owner had to move, is a world class snuggler and a pro fetch player. The girl has mad hops as the millennial kids used to say and she has a tail wag that picks up high wind speeds.
She is very timid at first, but over the last few weeks her confidence has grown and her personality has come to life. While she might back away at first, a little patience sitting near her always does the trick to get her out of her comfort zone.
Angel loves her toys and her bouncy balls more than anything else. She can sometimes become possessive over them, but can easily be redirected to share.
She gets along with other dogs extremely well and doesn't mind cats at all.
Angel may also be known to bark when strangers walk in but is quick to quiet as long as they don't try to come after her too quickly.
She's great at letting you know when she needs to go potty and will always be the first one to tell you when she's ready to play. She is a great companion dog. Angel is very bonded with her sister, Charyli, and is Charyli's protector. We would love to see them get adopted together if possible.
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
