All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Eclair is a soft, sensitive little Maltipoo who came from a hoarding situation and is now discovering that the world can be safe, kind, and full of love.

When she first arrived, she was shut down— but with patience and gentle care, she has started to blossom in the most beautiful ways. She’ll quietly approach for pets, pause, and come back for more— choosing connection in her own time.

Personality

Eclair is is gentle and observant girl who is quietly affectionate in her own way. She's definitely curious about people and responds best to calm energy. She can be startled easily but is becoming braver by the day. Her foster dad has become her favorite human and seeing her approach him for pets or attention is adorable.

Daily Life

Eclair is making so much progress! She now recognizes that the leash = walks (she may hesitate, but she’s learning and curious!) and enjoys slow, calm walks as she is still gaining confidence outside. She loves lounging near her people (and watching TV!) and uses potty pads reliably and is working on outdoor potty skills (when on leash, as she does not have yard access.) She currently lives with another calm dog and appreciates the companionship. Another dog in her forever home isn't a must, but would be a plus.

The Maltese is a small toy breed known for its glamorous white coat, which is long, silky, and virtually hypoallergenic. They are gentle, affectionate companion dogs that thrive on human companionship and make wonderful family pets. Maltese dogs are playful, intelligent, and alert, with a confident demeanor despite their small size. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and are suitable for apartment living due to their size and adaptability.

The Poodle is a highly intelligent and elegant dog breed known for its distinctive curly coat and graceful appearance. Originally bred as water retrievers, Poodles come in three size varieties Standard, Miniature, and Toy each with their unique characteristics but sharing the breed's alert and friendly nature. Renowned for their hypoallergenic qualities and keen sense of humor, Poodles excel in various dog sports and activities, making them versatile companions suitable for different lifestyles and living situations.
