Maltese Dogs Available for Adoption in Lewisville, Texas

Chloe is a six year old Maltese, maybe mixed with ShihTzu, weighing in at a whopping 4 lbs! She was surrendered to a local shelter, and we have no idea why. Foster mom says she is almost perfect. She walks like a pro with a harness and leash, she's calm and still when riding in a car, and she's tiny enough to fit inside your purse or small pet carrier; you can take her anywhere. She is housebroken for the most part, but is still a little skittish of the doggy door. She likes to be close to her person and sleeps on her foster mom's pillow at night. She gets along with her 3 canine foster sisters and her feline foster brother and sister, but would be fine as an only pet. She's never destroyed anything nor does she get anxious when left alone. She doesn't appear to be playful yet, but that could change as she gets more comfortable. She's a little yappy with other yappy dogs, but quite as a mouse until one of them starts barking.
