Meet Irie: A Diamond in the Ruff!
This is Irie (pronounced "Eye-rie," like the reggae term for good vibes!), and he is an absolute sweetheart who has stolen our hearts! This little guy is just 11 months old-still a puppy with so much love to give!-and he has an incredible story to tell.
Irie came to us as a stray, so while his past is a mystery, we know one thing for sure: his future is about to be amazing. When he arrived, his long, shaggy coat was completely and severely matted. It's heartbreaking to think how uncomfortable he must have been, but despite it all, his spirit has remained unbroken.
Here's the good news: Irie is getting a complete makeover! Our groomers are working their magic, and he will soon be shaved down to be comfortable, clean, and mat-free. He is going to look like a brand-new dog, and we can't wait to see his adorable face shine through! We'll be sure to post updated photos as soon as his "spa day" is complete.
Despite the condition of his coat, Irie is an incredible dog. He is a "really good boy" with a heart full of joy and a personality that is all about play, play, play! He absolutely adores other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine companion in his forever home. All he wants is a family to love him, a soft place to sleep, and plenty of toys to chase!
